Flowerhorn x Red Texas Female

Just thought i'd shar some updated pics for the flowerhorn fans out there

She's about 5" now and dying to spawn... just need to find a nice male for her that will withstand a beating... she's a crazy one!!!!

These pics don't do her any justice either... much better in the flesh

awesome color on her matt, just wait till shes 9 inches, shell be stunning..

Hard to beleive that this is the same fish about 7 months ago when i got it at 2"

hey matt, you have done a fantastic job of raising it. it is very rewarding to see the magnificant result of the colour maturing on the fish, and by the look of it we will see it's full colour blossom in a few more months time. great job.

have you set up the new tank yet? what are you going to put in it? i bought a white colour fish couple of days ago. i have no idea what it is called but the species will grow to a very large fish. i put it in the tank with the flowerhorn but using a divider to separate them. this white fish is much smaller so i will wait until it grows more otherwise the flowerhorn will eat it. once i find my camera i will picture it and perhaps you can tell me what it is. thanks.

no i ahvn't set up the tank yet... been both sick and really busy at work

can't wait to set it up soon though

sounds like your fish might ba a giant gourami??? or red devil???
