poop

One of the baby discus has just had a poop that was about 12cm long hanging from its bottom. It was mostly full but some bit's were clear. I have never ever seen the discus do this, my mollies do it all th time. Is this normal? :?

Now it's doing clear just like one of the pics I have seen here and it was advised to treat for hex. Gosh one hurdle jumped and another put there. I am off to the vets tomorrow and won't be able to get flagly into them until tomorrow night. What causes hex? :banghead
