Backround: blue or white?

what is the best background color for a planted discus tank considering the discus change color or pepper according to surroundings? i have been told both blue or white.

so: blue or white? let me know!

i have a collection of redish fish: melon, red white, red and blue panda.

I got blue in mine.... seem to be fine. Never tried white though, except in my breeding tank. Wouldn't it be too bright?
