2" Red melons & Red turquoise - Are these stunted?

Can i grow this into good adults of 5" to 6"?

Hi ujwaldignified,

The simple answer is yes, they look stunted. Will they grow to 5-6" ? yes, if you treat them to good water, ie regular big water changes and a varied diet. They can lead a good healthy life, they are not show winners, but will make good pets nevertheless.

Gday, maybe Hollowman can help me out here,
Just wondering how you can tell that the discus are stunted.....im looking at a Snow White and a Blue Diamond at my lfs and they are simply spectacular....
id like them to grow out if i was gunna fork out the kind of money he wants for them!!

Hi Nic,

I have made a post here before showing the traits of a stunted fish particually looking at eye size, try a search for it. I have only just logged in quick right now as I am in Singapore at Aquarama. I will try and find it when I get back home, but if you are in any doubt.........leave them bothwell alone for now, there will be others ok
