example of a show quality discus?

Hi :)

Im new to Discus. I have experience keeping cichlids previously. atm i have a tank cycling ready for my first discus.

Ive gone through the entire 3 pages of the discus critque forum. Such a great forum and ive learnt alot from the pics ive seen and what ive read so far.

After viewing all the photos and corresponding critiques of them im wondering if anyone has good examples of show quality discus? What im after is something to go on when selecting my first Discus.

Basket, I have just judged our discus show here in the UK, there are many things to look at when picking a good fish, specially picking from a batch of young ones.

I will try to answer any qustions you have.

advice on picking juveniles is exactly what im after.

i know where im getting them from etc and the tank is all set up and waiting. im just wondering what specific characteristics i should be looking out for...
