WORMING ?

After worming and then cleaning canister filter if I worm again after a week as suggested should I then clean the filter again.

Just out of curiosity is your carbon out of the filter? If not the carbon may suck up some, or all, of your medicine making it have litttle effect.

I don't have carbon in my canister at all..had no need to

No, I have never used carbon in my filter before because I thought that if you kept your water clean there would be need for it.

As an aside, I always get a slight ammonia spike after using worming medicine.

Yep - clean it out again. You don't want any worm eggs hatching in your filter.
