This is our new addition to our tank and we are just wanting some pointers on this one, I think it looks a little bit small for it's age - eyes do look a bit big...currently 7cm in body length.

shape is nice, bit long but it will grow, and the colour looks nice and even, will only get better with time, not a bad fish I'd be happy to have it in my tank(s).

So it's not stunted? Been worried because the electric dream we got along side it had a bigger body to eye ratio - but the electric dream started to pepper in its colouring. Definately guttered

i dont think its stunted, even if it is, with good feeds and good water it'll grow, the fish still looks nice and young.

how young would you guess this to be? Also - could you tell me how to estimate age in these?

Age, I'd say no older tan 5 months, the color hasn't developed yet. i'm guessing its size to be about 3 inches from head to tail, to me it looks immature by the shape of the forhead, as they get older it will thicken and broaden.
