Heyall
I have just treated my rainbow fish, bolivian butterflies and Bristlenose with Wardley's Para-Ex last night. This morning the poor things looked stressed, the bristlenose hasn't moved from the one spot I found him in, (he is alive - I poked him). The active ingredient is trichlorphon is this a bad med?
I did a 50% w/c the rainbows are looking better the b/n isn't traveling far - he is breathing tho. I do another 50% wc tomorrow.
Has anyone had similiar experience with this med?
thanks
Janice

Bristlenoses can be sensitive to many meds, a quick google serch told me that some people have lost bristlenoses after treating with Para-Ex, so you might be out of luck.

still keep up the water changes, bristlenoses are tough fish they usually pull through most things.

oh great - poor bristlenose :( :( Hope he pulls through - thanks for the info Illusn
I should have afforded the same treatment as I do my discus - I won't use it in the discus tank - it is definitely going in the bin after this (the para-ex not the b/n)
