Stay away from Tetra Bits and any food that advertises "colour enhancing" agents, because they will turn your yellow fish orange (been there - done that :( )
You can safely use your home made beef heart mix, spirulina flakes, earth worm flakes, freeze dried Aussie Blackworms, just about any kind of frozen food, and live brine shrimp.

breeders blend flake isn't too bad for a color enhancing food, if you can slip a little extra spirolina into your beefheart mix it will also help keep the color good without it going "unnatural"
freeze dried blackworms are also DYNAMITE for picking up the color and general condition of your discus just as merrilyn has suggested.
