new young discus. split tail

Hi ive just got 7 new young discus, one of my new young brilliants has a split tail, he swims fine, looks healthy, lovely shape but doesn't have the normal tail its split straight down the middle to the body, no fraying or evidence or nipping. just wondered if anyone else has had this, is it a quirky fish or will it mend. :roll:

it should heal kittykat. By keeping the water really clean so heaps of water changes getting the parametres right. From time to time mine have had split tails but not right to the base of the body. Just keep an eye that the body area is ok. Might have torn on something in the tank - driftwood perhaps??

Just add a little salt to ur system should help things along
