what do I call these parents?

Hmmm, since I've recently sold all my discus, my dad gave me a new pair yesterday.... guess what happened today? This was after I thought I scared them to death this am when I walked into the room and they went crazy! :lol:

Anyone care to tell me what I should call them (strain)? They are a very pretty red, with red eyes, but unfortunately have some black peppering. No stripes.

Anyone want to guess how many eggs? They're still going as of these pictures, but my estimate is 200ish. :D

I could be wrong as I am lousey with knowing the names of strains (this will change Kev mentioned an awesome book available at SLS ... wish my mrs read the forums then she would know what to get for my bd!) but to me I would hazard a guess at Marlboro reds.

i would say a malb' red with a pidgeon parent not so long ago

hard to say,

without a knowlege of the past parents you will be having a bit of a lucky dip

you would expect them to hold pretty close to the parents
