lighting question

hi all - is 120 watts of lighting( 60w gro light, 60w grolux) in a 6x2x2 tank sufficient to grow plants such as anubias, swords and crypts and conversely, would 360 watts be too much, and create algae problems.There is no co2 set up in the tank.

any views on this subject? I'd like to know whether its worth spending the money to get the extra lighting
