This is my most recent addition to my planted aquarium, but I have no idea what he/she is? Any help please?

Sorry if in wrong topic. Feel free to swap.

I honestly don't know what that is, and I guess others are having the same problems, from the lack of replies.

I suspect it's a cross between a turquoise and a red alenquer. I've seen that cross before and it's produced some chocolate coloured fish similar to what you have.

Whatever the breeding, it's a nice shaped fish and looks well grown. Feed it up with lots of good food and of course, those frequent water changes.

She reminds me of neopolitan ice cream minus the strawberry. Maybe we can make up a name for her coloring.

Yeah..difficult to be 100%, but I was going to bid on Alenquer

Thanks all - apologies if I sounded rude. I needed to know what she was as I am thinking of selling her. Bit tricky without knowing what she is. Thanks again.

I wouldn't sell her if I were you....

She has good shape and it would be good if she can pair off with your best male.

Just a suggestion though.
