Scientific name for cultivated discus

I would like to know what is the scientific name for tank breed discus ?
For example how; pigeon blod or blue diamond, or red melon or golden albino could be named ?
How they are classified?
Is it proper to say that scientifically they are "Symphysodon aequifasciatus Pellegrin 1904"?

Discus are normally classified as Symphysodon aequifasciatus, Symphysodon discus (which is said to be very similar to aequifasiatus and may even be the same) and Symphosodon tarzoo which is characterised by its red spotting I believe.

I guess you would have to trace it back through your fishes breeding history to find out what was bred with what.
