Hi,

I realise that people have questioned the effectiveness of Pimafix and Melafix before, with Discus.

But, has anyone used Pimafix as a alternative to Meth Blue and Malachite Green to prevent fungas on Discus Eggs? It is claimed to be an Antifungal Remedy.

I don't know of anyone who has used this as an alternative to MB, but I wouldn't think it would have the same effect.
If you are really worried about using MB, just make sure that your water quality is as good as possible, and in my experience, you won't need to use MB anyway.
