Can we see newly laid eggs ?

Is it possible to see with naked eye the eggs after they have been laid by the discus parents or do we need to wait 24-72 hours before they become sort of visible ? Sorry, could sound like a layman's question, but I really do wanna know..

You can watch them being laid, row after row, it's great to watch. The only you can't see , well I haven't seen is the male milt..
