That's a great pic Mike.

They all look fat and healthy.

Have you tried any fish in the tank with the shrimps, or are they on their own?

Bought them through one of the many forums I go to...theyre only about $4 each now if you by them in numbers.

There are fish in there Merrilyn....P. gertrudae. Little natives with little mouths.

Hi Andrew
Its an Ericaulon sp, a native. I collected it myself from a creek in the Northern Territory.
The fish is a Spotted Blue eye, a native fish.
Theres two species of shrimp...an import (Cherry Shrimp) and a native from the NT. The native is Caridina sp NTnilotica an as yet undescribed species, its a terrific algae eater.
The Cherry is an exotic. Both Cherry Shrimp and CRS (and Im sure some others) have been smuggled into the country over the last few years. Your dead right, there would be a worry about the potential for them becoming yet another pest here and also bringing in or acting as vectors for some potentially disastrous diseases.
