Help Needed

Hi All,

I have 2 problems in my tank.

First is a Red Melon I noticed a red mark on its face this is the first time I have noticed it pic is attached still eats ok and swims around fine

Second problem is a Gold Ribbon for the last 3 days it has been hiding and hasnt come out to eat.

Tank has been running for 2.5 months
PH 6.8
Am 0
Nitrite 0
Nitrate .10
Temp 30
50% water change twice a week

I believe the red mark on the nose is bacterial.

You could move the fish to a hospital tank, and treat with antibiotics, like Tetracycline. That should clear it up, but it will also wipe out the good bacteria in your bio filter, that's why you need to use a hospital tank, and not the main tank.

As far as the little guy hiding, have you notice if he's being bullied at all? Is he still eating well, and are his droppings normal or have they turned white?
