Gday
Ive only started out on my journey with discus, I started out with three and now im left with one?
They seem to be all eating or where
Ive had them for about 2months
The tank is 6x2.5x2ft heavily planted
All the other inmates are thriving!!! I dont understand why they are dieing and hiding all the time
Im feeding flake, fronzen discus and live worms?
Any suggestions?

Three is not a good number. Either go 2 or 4...
Can you post your water parameters, filtration, etc.

yea i thought even numbers where better
all water seems okay
nitrate 0pp
nitrite 0pp
Amonia 0pp
Ph 7.2
Filtration is a big matrix sump, with two return ehiem pumps doing about 6000L/H
Lighting is 4x metal halides
Im just wondering wheather it was a bad batch i bought?

Eddie, you shouldn't have a zero reading of nitrate, unless you've just done a massive waterchange, of around 90%.
Can you tell us a little more about your tank?

Length of time set up
Temperature

More than likely a batch that had some rampant disease. It is always wise to maintain a quarentine period before introducing new fish, whatever the fish are. 4 to 6 weeks is a norm for me. You can then treat accordingly and introduce a scarifical lamb to see if there is any adverse reactions, and treat accordingly again. It just saves loosing all of your valuable stock. :cry:

Eddie, can you post the temp you keep this tank at and what you add for the plants?
CO2, ferts, excel etc?
