Hi,
I have some blue green algea in my planted discus tank and want to no is it safe just to squirt the H202 straight onto the algea which is on the sand and not hurt the discus. Also do i need to get the 3% or 6% H202 strength from the chemist. How much is required in the syringe??? Any help would be apprecieted as i dont wont to kill my disucs.

6% would work better, than 3%, dont worry too much about the fish you'll only be squirting 2-3ml max, it near instantanously decomposes to H20 and 02 in the presense of water.

its also nice to have on hand if ever you'll be using KMnO4.

have a read here, this stuff is magic for BGA

Thanks for the info,
so your saying use 2-3ml in a syringe of the 6%, does this still mean i have to dillute it down to 20%.??? whats the calculation for that. Cheers Axl
