Next Swap Meet is:

Here's how it will work.

You guys will list here what you have, and also what you want. Photo's of what you have and all related information will be helpful for those wanting to swap with you.

If you want a straight swap, you need to state what you wish to swap for, adding as much information as possible to make it easier for others to see if they have what you are after.

Example: I have a Red Melon, 5cm, 3moths old, (picture), worth $50.
I want to swap for a Red Turq of similar size and age.

If you want to get rid of a heap of fry, you can offer them for a swap or you can ask for an amount you want for them.

We will provide fish bags, oxygen, and foam boxes if required.

We will also take any unwanted fish of any kind, providing they are in good health, for store credit.

We will also be offering a 15% discount on all store items* during the swap meet hours.

I'll be there, bringing

a bucket of gold fish (5cm and up),
a few koi (BIG) and XL goldfish if anyone wants them,
2 pidgeon cross discus (7 & 8 cm i think both male) possibly 2 blue diamonds (6cm & 7cm)

after turks (red, blue) and cobolts of similar size. and peppermints (any size).
female common bristlenose

will add photos through the week.

Thought I'd post up some photos of the fish I'll be bringing, bringing up 3 possibly 4 discus...

2x pigion/snake/turk 11cm 9cm (body length - tail). both fish were sent up to me by Tommo earlier this year and are around the 18mth 2yr old mark assuming the value of each fish to be around $35

1 blue diamond 7cm body length, 2 years old, this fish is a bit of a runt but eats VERY well, its sibling is a 7 inch monster (worth say $20).

possibly 1 brown x red turk 8cm body length, havn't yet decided if I can use it as a breeder later on (again lets call it worth $20).

will also bring up a couple of red tiger lotus ($10) and a few swords (call them worth $5).

more to come as i sort out whats going and what I'm keeping.

I have 4 koi available for the swap meet as well that I'll bring up if someone is interested in them,

1x orange 55cm long
1x pearl white 38-43cm long
1x white with bright blue back 20-23cm long
1x blue with orange sides 25cm long (great looking fish).

All lengths are body length (-tail) these are BIG fish and i'll only bring them if someone is willing to take them on the day.
I will try and get photos up but its hard to photograph them in a deep black pond. asking $1.5/cm or again, trade (+ cash if required) for peppermint bristlenoses, turks, cobolts, BD's (female), pearl pigion (female), red melon (male) of similar value.

Well we had our first meet today, a resounding success, and a big thanks to all those that attended! :)

We will do it again next month, will advise on details closer to the date.
