thank you merrilyn and waitake. they are certainly in love and very good team to guard their eggs from other discus. unfortunately, i guess as soon as eggs hatch they will lose their little babies.

thanks matt and scott. they did spawn a few days ago on the filter intake pipe. a small percentage hatched but as soon as they hatched they were blown away by the water outlet of another filter. breeding them would be interesting but looking after three tanks already is too much work. don't have time to change water daily for little babies, and also what do i do with the babies if i am luckily enough to raise them? knowing myself i probably want to keep some of them (if they look good) and will only end up having a fourth or fifth tank...
