Another UV question

Helle All,

I am in the process of upgrading my cannister filter to an Eheim 2080 and I was thinking of running a Pondmaster UV-36W on the return line from my filter. Will the pondmaster modify the flow rate? Any advice would be much appreciated as I have never used UV before.

No the uv has a larger diameter than the 16/22mm hose the 2080 uses, there isn't any flow restriction.
