IS THIS NORMAL??

Hi

I live in Melbourne & brought a breeding pair of discus from Sydney, from the time the guy boxed them up and i got them & put them in my tank it would of been about 7 hours, 3 hours later she laid eggs but the male didnt do his part.

Is it normal or has it happend to anyone els for there discus to lay in such short time?

not that it is normal ,but it does happen , she must have liked the water you had there ,
they might lay again in a week or two , good luck with it
