I have three types of snail.
The live bearing, substrate dwelling type.
Small apple snails
and something like the apple snail but larger and more cornet shaped.
The substrate snails i'm not too botherd about as i crack them and feed them to my puffers, so its cheap food. I was doing the same thing with the others, but they are getting out of hand now.
So i want something thats going to eat them, and was thinking of khulli's.
I have some chain loaches and they have controled snails for me. I was thinking of moving them into the tank but they are had to catch.
So i figured that khullis may do a simliar job?
Their head/jaws are around the same size, and most books list them as liking the same foods.
Does anyone know how effective they are at eating snails?
