Water Changing in 65 gallon tank..

If I have only 3 Discus (5 inch fishies) in a 65 gallon tank, running on a Fluval 4 external filter, do I still need to do 25-30% water change weekly ? The water is crystal clear at the end of the week.. :P

It still does not answer my qs.. "is it necessary" if the water is clean ?

There are things you can test for and many that you can't in tank water. These will all add up if you are not careful and the result is sick fish. Ok, you only have a few fish, but would you like to be in a hot room of sweaty people, with the window only opened once a week for fresh air?

Up to you of course, but your fish will love you for it. imo

Oh! and crystal clear water does not mean it is 'good' water.
