DIY co2 ,is this right

I've built a yeast sugar co2 generator as per plans on this site and after a couple of days I have a goodly amount of co2 being produce i havent conected up to my tank as yet and my only worry is the co2 coming from the generator smells a bit farty if you get my drift is this the norm or am I doing some thing wrong. I'm using a 2 ltr coke container with 2cups of sugar 1/2 tsp of dried yeast and a pinch of bicarb filled 3/4 full

the smell is normall, give it another day and it will smell VERY "yeasty"
