Discus breeding (D/l warning)

Hey guys

Well caught my discus breeding today and actually managed to have a camera at hand.

This is their 2nd time, it is a community tank so I have no hope of them surviving but fun to watch all the same.

The blue diamond is the male, and the snakeskin is the female.

Thats awesome Dan, congrats on the lay. The first few times are always soo exciting, especially when your there to watch and capture the entire ritual. Some great photos on there... nice closeup shots too...!

Yea, exciting to watch them, but god they are slow :lol:

The caviar didn't last the night.
Something enjoyed a late supper when the lights went out.

Just letting nature do its thing.
Don't have the time or space to try breed them.
