Several years ago, I bought a gorgeous pure yellow and white discus pair. Colorbits turned them orange within a couple of weeks. :!:
Took months for the colour to revert to normal.
There must be some potent red dye in that stuff :?

Very interesting...I started using Colour Bits about 2 months ago and have noticed my turqoise blue discus colours changing like this.
It has enhanced the slight amount of red, made the body go more yellow, with the effect of a 'greenish' colour overall.

I'll try and take some photo's today and post - I've had some juvie red melons for a while and had 2 in my quarnatine tank and 2 in my grow out tank.
Quarantine fed colorbits, grow out fed breeders blend (along with my beef heart mix for both tanks) - what a difference in colour - colorbits are a washed out orange and breeders blend is just about fire engine red.
Could not believe the difference - they are now all in together and on breeders blend. The colorbits certainly 'oranged' them up overall but the breeders blend is the real stand out - far more natural colours.
mistakes r crucial

Rheemas, get some Spirulina in to your Blue Turqs, you'll be pleased with the results and personally I wouldn't be feeding synthetic Astaxanthin to blue fish. We got some real weird results on Blue Diamonds when we were testing the differences 18 months ago, it really washes them out colour wise.
Glad to see your fish are doing well on BB Barry, yours is a perfect example of the difference between Natural and Synthetic Astaxanthin although the differences in overall health and breeding benefits are even greater.
Cheers
