Well, i cant sleep I got my first discus today and i cant get to sleep because I'm worried about them  do you think thats sad? I'm just wondering if its natural for them to breathe.. and stare at me? (Tanks in front of bed) there looking at me right now. There Two Checkerboard/Blue Turqs I'm already attached i didn't think id be this attached to them  I'll be getting two more later if these two go well. Also is it natural for them to stay near the bottom and not move around much? like for them to just hover there? they move a bit tho just not heaps. Anyway heres how the tank looks now I've still got some more plants coming just waiting for them to get here. Thanks, hope i didn't sound too weird

Andy your tank looks good mate. A nice array of plants and wood. Congrats on your new checkerboard discus. Everything sounds normal mate, there great to sit back and watch for hours. I'm sure you'll get tiard enough watching them swim around once they are more accustomed to there new home.
I'd love to see some pics of them if you've got the time?

Personally the bits of wood going across the 'gorge' look a little contrived. I think it might look better without them.
Other than that the new scape looks great. It will look awesome once it has grown in. What sort of plants are in there?

Agreed - tank layout looks great just lose the two horizontal sticks.

It actually does look better without the sticks, The plants are Crypts (not sure how they will go in the heat) Corkscrew Vals at the back just waiting for them to grow Hydro, wistera and dwarf hair grass hopefully it looks full after awhile i need to get another bushy plant for the right side not sure what i should put there any suggestions? Thanks. :D

like the shape of your driftwood. I also liked the white sand! How are the discus going?

Thanks for the comments! Yeah the discus are going great actually one of the two i first bought died from the other one not letting it eat. So i went and bought three more and they seem to be fine except for some attitude but i think its natural with the pecking order. They actually brought white spot but I've treated them for it and its long gone and bought a New heater cause the old one was only 100W and it'd take a day to get to 29 C Now with the 250W I'm running 32C. :D
