Hi,
i have setup a 6ft tank with co2 and no ph controller, my tank sits around 6.3ph when the lights are on and the co2 is going. When the lights go off the co2 does as well as they are hooked up to a timer, then 2 airstones go on. My ph in the morning when the airstones are on is 7.2ph which is to big of a difference, how do i stop the big swing in ph ???, How do other people counter act this problem. Cheers Axl

Hey,
so your saying that you run your co2 24/7 and dont run any airstones. So i should just leave me co2 on 24/7 and have no airsrones going at night so the ph dosent drop.

Try it for a few days and see how it goes you may have to adjust your CO2.
I have my spraybar pointing at the back of the tank and up so the water surface is rippling. The CO2 is mixed with another canister filter via a diffuser and a pondmaster 36 watt UV.

Yes spray bars to face back and positioned to make water surface to ripple.
Where do you have your CO2 positioned in the tank I have my outlet pointing down at a slight angle (using an old spray bar pipe) its the small pipe on the L/H side.(yes the tank has been cleaned :) )after I took pic

I use a glass diffusor to diffuse the co2 and that sits bellow the spraybar which pushes the co2 around the tank and i have another spraybar at the end of the tank. I will change the end spraybar to the back of the tank. Whats else would you suggest. ???

See how the changes work first.
