Multiple tank setup.

Hi all, great forum, I did a search but couldn't find what I need info on.

I works in a large store the boss wants to setup 6 50 gallon tanks for discus.

should we keep each tank separate, they are drilled in the bottom so I can use a central system.

I have RO water available in the store or tap water?

Well Jim, i don't know about discus illness, but the bigest problem in my shrimp farm (if i linked all 9 30 liter tanks onto 1 filter):
If 1 tank has a problem (sickness, high nitrate/phosphate levels etc) all tanks could get that...

cenrtralised systems are a problem when it comes to disease. the problem is the expense with meds when the fish get sick.

id run each independent, but thats me, lots of people do run all their tanks on 1 system.
