You have very nice discus i like them. Are the colbalt a pair? I saw a pigeon in an aquarium a few weeks ago which looks very very similar to yours in the last picture, which has the type of shape i like. Are you in Sydney? (since there is no location stated under your username)

Thank you so much for the very nice compliments mates !
I'm in Salt Lake City, Ut. U.S.A.
I bought the fish as 2.5 to 3 inchers. They are now approaching their full grown size I think, they are about 11 months old now.
Both sets are in 60g tall, planted tanks. I do not use RO, just tap, with Prime conditioner, our water is a little hard for hatching eggs, but if and when pairs form out of these tanks I will move them to 30g bare bottoms of their own, with RO, and cross my fingers.
I have a Fluval 405, a penguin 330, and a Magnum 250 for filteration running on each tank. With a 25 W UV Sterilizer. I do 50% water changes on each tank every other day, but now that they are reaching adult, I will likely slow that down to twice a week.
I have never fed Beef Heart. Only Brine Shrimp, chopped steamed Prawns with steamed spinach, And a variety of dry foods that are high in Protein.
Thanks again for all the nice things you all have said !

Thank you so much Ben -
All of the fish above were billed as something else in the States. But you know how those names are, seems now a days as every new fish has a new name. The Turks were billed here as "Venus Leopards" the Cobalt's were billed here as "Violet Reflections" and both have had a very intense metallic coloration. So part is in the breeding I'm sure, as far as foods, I think it has been the dry foods that have brought out the color so much.
I'm not sure what is available in OZ but, they do get quite a bit of Spurlina, which enhances color I hear. And the three main dry foods that they get are these (below) -
You probably have the same there -
It seems as though they give the fish almost a "Glow in the Dark" coloration !
And seems to do equally as good of a job on the Oranges, Reds & Yellows.

You have done a great job with them. You can have all the colours of the rainbow, but nothing beats healthy looking discus.
