Help With High GH and KH.......

Just checked my GH and KH for my new Discus tank and found the GH at 10 dGH or 179 ppm GH and the KH at 4dKH or 71.6 ppm KH.

Tested the water out of the tap and got the same reading. How do I bring it back to a suitable level? I believe its not ment to be more then 53.7 for both GH and KH (is this right???)

a gh of 10 & kh of 4 degrees is fine, dont change it if its stable.

idealy you'd want a gh of 6-8 and a kh of 3-5.

My rain water has a gh of 80ppm and 0 kh and the ph can be "difficult" to manage if your not carefull.
