WTB: Two Discus in Adelaide

Hi All,

I'm looking for a pair of discus no bigger than roughly 10cm nose to tail each. A male and female would be ideal, but if they have not spawned together that's no issue.

At this time I do not hold any preferences for type/colour so if you have something for grabs that fits the criteria, feel free to let me know.

Oh yeah, I am in North East Adelaide and will travel a *little* way outside of the metro area, e.g. Mount Barker or Gawler.

I've got a suspicion that you either get a breeding pair or get them 10cm or less. They're difficult to sex until they start spawning & they don't do that until they're mostly grown - unless they're stunted.

Fish_r has some adults/a pair for sale - check the classifieds.

Unless by pair you meant 2 fish rather than a breeding pair?

Yes, my original use of the word "pair" was for two discus: a breeding pair would be nice, so too would be a male and female that have not yet spawned however the point is taken about not knowing gender until spawning has occurred.
