My camera isn't very good & my camera skills worse :oops: but thought I'd share the pictures anyway

Wild Royal Blue Discus from Xtreme New addition 10.02.08.

Tank Bred Heckle New Addition 14.02.08. Looks different from other Heckle pics I've seen here, but I like him anyway. My camera made him look a bit on the purple side, which isn't right. More brownish / white with a redish band, then black band near the fins.

Group Shot Not new fish, but I liked this picture. 1st time my Blue Diamond has come out blue in a pic. Usually looks a bit greenish.

Camera skills come with lots of practice and just playing around with the settings. Google is a great tool for finding a brief run down of your cameras abilities.

I love the colouring in the Royal Blue. Can i ask what you paid for him?
I can't really see your heckle but the last shot shows you've got a nice blue diamond and some sort of melon.

Google is a great tool for finding a brief run down of your cameras abilities My camera is a fairly old & most basic Kodak Easy Share model. I have the instructions & disks for it still, so not sure if google would tell me more. I have a choice of flash on, flash off, day & night mode, video - that's pretty much it :oops:

I do have a melon, but not in the pic. I think you mean the yellow fish? He's from Xtreme as well - a mixed albino. He eats Natur Rose, Tetra Colour Bits & Beefheart from a sticky receipe here (& anything else offered). These yellowed him up, but I like him like that. The Blue Diamond is from Xtreme. This is 1st time he has taken a nice photo that show his true colours. He has nice red eyes too, but they may not show here.

I'll pm what I paid for the wild royal blue.

Re: the heckle. Being the newest fish, he is the shyest (though WRB also shy still). Hard to photograph. Doesn't help that all the greedy discus come crowding around when I take photos, begging for food :lol: He looks very different from other pics I've seen here of Heckles, but I like him a lot. Many will criticise him. He has a small round hole in his top fin, which LFS said will never heal. Wasn't born with it, happened sometime after birth. This reduced price & apart from the hole, he was the prettiest heckle in the tank IMO. He was the only one with a red & black band edging upper & lower fins. If I get a clearer shot, I'll post it :)
