What is the shortest time you have had between two batches of eggs being laid by either a single female or a true female and male pair? I have heard they can lay about every week, but what is the shortest anyone has experienced?

That's what mine just did. They laid Friday and again yesterday. I was afraid that meant they were two females. They are still in the stage where they are eating them shortly after they lay them. From what I have seen of sexing them it does look like I have a male and female. The male was the one eaing them yesterday. The other had a tube sticking out of its vent, the male did not. So I am assuming this was the ovipositor/egg tube.

If he had it out then he had already pulled it back in. How long are the tubes usually out after spawning?
