Hey Fish Rock Aquarium,

Would the Helferi survive in <PH?

not as hard as you would imagine....we have some growing well in a tank with a ph of about 7.3-7.4 as well as some growing in ph of 6.8ish.

both are doing extremely well....but i have to say grows alot quicker in the tank of about 6.8, but there are alot of other variables involved.

Current PH values in our breeding tanks are around the 5 PH mark, a little low for us & are gradually raising the PH to around the 6 mark, the only plants that seem to do well in our tanks are anubias nana & java moss.

I think I will give the plant a miss unfortunately.

also have sold alot of rams, but we still have heaps, they are pretty much all 3cm+ they grow fast.

price will most likely go up in about another 2 weeks or so as they get even bigger. so get in quick!
