Looking for some feedback from everyone else -

1. Water change frequency - how often?
2. Water change amount - how much?
3. How do you water change?

I personally don't find our tapwater too bad in Adelaide so use powerheads and heaps of Prime. Don't age the water - yet.
Every tank gets 50% change every other day.

All tanks can be considered well filtered. Well, maybe over filtered - if there is such a thing

Time consuming to say the least, don't look forward to coming home from work to spend most of my time water changing.

Any ideas on making my life easier???

Each tank/aquarium setup will require its own schedule for keeping the water quality at its optimum. This topic has discussed over and over again in other threads here. They might be worth reading...;)

Obviously there are many factors which effect this:
- Tank size
- Fish (numbers/sizes/ages)
- Gravel
- Plants etc etc etc the list goes on and on!

I think u just need to monitor your water quality and find your own balance between "how much time you have & whats required to keep your fish healthy and alive"

I use rain water to complete 2-4 water changes aweek. Each change is of between 50-40%.

If ultimately you want to spend less time doing these water changes you should consider a sump tank. Its not the only answer but its one i'd consider.
