Peruvian angel for $250!!!

I saw an EOI on boronia aquarium forums and a guy was saying that he saw some "Peruvian altums" in a store for $250. He is confident that it is a P. scalare "peruvian", red dots and all.

I never realised the prices for those guys have inflated so much, any clues? I hassled him about using the altum tag, since it often misleads many to think that they are buying P. altum.

How much would P. scalare "peruvian" be worth? Red dots, slight snout. I want to set things straight before some new hobbiest gets the shaft thinking they're getting a good deal.

theres a lfs in syd trying to sell "altums" (P.scalare) as "Altums" for over $100ea @5cm size.
