My guys average about 2 weeks -- water temp is about 27 -- when i suspected i had white spot - took the water up to 29 - 30 -- did not lay at all during this time ( was there for about 2 - 3 weeks )
as soon as it was back to about 27 - they laid eggs within a few days

27 is to low!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to get them to spawn it is ok but then up with it to 29-30!
discus should never ever get white spot mate.

They never get white spot ??? Lost all of my African cichlids to white spot about 1.5 years ago --- had a discus show up with a white spot on its tail - so took evasive measures ( ran my Uv light for a few days straight + treatment ) then it went away ......
so what could it have been as it looked exactly the same as what my cichlids all died off ( in a very short time mind you )

when you have 30oC chances to get whitespot are next to 0.
