Two of my discus had been acting like a pair. The other two avoid them and try to stay out of sight. The other night when I fed them this became very apparent. The two were eating and everytime the orange one came out they would chase it off. The other didn't even try while I was watching. So I went out and bought a 3"x12" edging tile for only $3. This afternoon They had laid some eggs.

I plan on letting them keep them. If they eat them I will give them another shot or two. I am looking for people's experiences and recommendations from this point.

nice turks, they are probably the best strain to try and breed in a planted tank.

with a spawn that small I dont think you'll have much luck, give them a few more goes and you should get to 100+ eggs, at that stage you have a chance.

they're chances or raising any young in a planted comunity tank (with other discus) are pretty slim, buts its been done before, for now just sit back and enjoy.
