spawning cone

hey all, has anyone got any tips on a diy spawning cones.pvc pipe or something else?my pair is in a 2x15x15.

Just a small ceramic pot will do the trick. You'll find those at any gardening/hardware store. You'll also find the price much cheaper than the breeding cones sold by your LFS.

even better is some 50mm pvc pipe from bunnings and a 50mm endcap, eggs are laid much closer together and fertilization is better.

yeah boydie i would put it on a peace of glass or a peace of slate

boydie, Scott is dead on the money, i use some glass, but slate or a tile would work just as well.

the white colour is also good as it stops pigion fry from getting "confused".
