settling in period

hey all, as i have not done this before.how long generally does it take a pair of fish to settle in after they have been moved from a comfotable community tank to a breeeding tank.they look fine,a little bit spooked and not eating, but i only put them in yesterday.
also when should i treat for gill flukes?

leave the lights off for a day or2 and they will settle in, just feed them once a day till they settle, I'd do app bath on the tank, but wait till any body damage from the move has healed.
