aging water

could someone tell me the basics of aging my water and if my guys are used to tap water will it be too much of a ph drop switching from tap to aged?

aged water that isn't "modified" will be the same ph as your tap water (maybe 0.5 lower) and identicle to your tank water 24hrs after a water change with tap water.

your fish will love you for making the switch.

Ok thanks, is there any difference putting prime in before it sits or wait till its time to change the water? Can I let the water sit for a few days or is one day max?

i add prime when i fill my aging barrel and thats it. you want to give it time to take care of all the nasties in your tap water.
