Zeolite Sand or Similar

Hi all,

Just a quick question is Zeolite Sand OK to use?

I used Blue Circle filter sand before work perfectly however Pool Shop dont stock them any more.

Any idea on some thing similar to Blue Circle's?

you can use zeolite sand, its the right size, it has a habit of locking up ammonia and any charged ions, so I'm not sure how well it will grow plants (might lock away nutrients that the plants need).

Im going to search for blue circle sand this saturday... and pick up those plants too ^_^
