Gone Fishing, You're right thats the luck of Ebay I guess if it's there cheaper so be it but be careful not to get into a bidding war and end up paying more. I have a few copies left and I will match that price for the month of MARCH ONLY so it is now.

Books signed by the author always command a higher price than unsigned books.

Norto that's a great offer, and this is definately one of the best discus books I've read.

There is nothing on ebay lower than $100 as at this time so show some respect to the sponsor advertising this.

It may also pay dividends to read the guidelines in relation to replying to a thread in the classifieds topic area.

If your reply is not directly related to the item listed, i.e. a question, then maybe it would be best to say nothing at all.

Had it maybe occurred to you that the $85 listing on ebay was a starting bid and was listed by the same person as is listing it here? Google cache is a wonderful thing

It is definitely an excellent book to read and contains invaluable information. I don't read much and often stop reading a book half way through, but this is a book that i read the entire thing. There is always somewhere outthere have a lower price but the offer norto provides for march special deal you can't go wrong with that price.

Thanks for the kind replies it is a fantastic book Andrew knows what he is talking about. It was I that listed the book on Ebay and yes proteus that was the starting bid I was testing how good Ebay was with regards to the auction arrangement ,I have always been a little bit sus on how people run these auctions. Jury is still out, I will try and get Andrews books out in the market place anyway I can its has to be beneficial for everybody to gain as much knowledge as possible.

Hi Norto, If there are any copies left then i would love to purchase one from you? Ive been waiting to find "Exotic Discus of the World" by Victor Lim i think - based on an old thread because i assumed it was the most credible one out there?? But after stumbling across this thread and your comments i think i will get this first. At the end of the day im sure they are all great books, im just wanting ones that are a great read and will increase my research tools anf knowledge. How do we do this? :wink:
