Hi gurds,
My rough estimate (based on LFS prices around Sydney) are as follow:
elizabethae $90 - $150+ depending on place of origin, variant, etc. Usually you don't have a choice , either you have a LFS that brings them in or you don't see them.
borelli $15 - $30 depending on variant, place of origin, etc
panduro $20 - $30
agassizi $15 - $40 depending on variant
bitaeniata $20 - $50+ also on variant
pucallpaensis $30 have seen it once only over the past years
nijsseni $15 - $20
cacatouides $15 - $30 depending on variant
The quality and size are also influencing factors.
If you think the elizabethae is expensive - you shall check on the diplotaenia (and I think icana is also in the same league in the $$ term).
Cheers,
Thomas.

On last visit
Wetpetz had some boreli and Aggies - boreli yellow/blue aggies gold/red
Annerly had some bitaeniata - think all gone - Cacatoides and trifaciata - all males - and some steel blues.
Pet city had not much.

Th0mas is pretty spot on with those prices. The diplo's and wilhelmi are probably the most expensive that you can get in apisto circles, even overseas, hence LFS reluctance to bring them over here.

If you keep an eye on Wholesalers....... bayfish.com.au
You will see Apisto's on their list from time to time....ask your LFS for a price and they can get them in for you....I have found Bayfish very good a selecting pairs....they will also tell you if they are not sure.
You can also ask the lfs if any of the other wholesalers have them.
Not a lot of shops stock them.....they don't look spectacular as juvies....they are expensive and those who want them....only want pairs so often shops end up with half a dozen males no one wants to buy.
Pays to cruise the shops mentioned.....I picked up a nice pair of A. panduro for Annerley Aquarium for $10 each! about 12 months ago
You still got them Steve??

I had a bad xmas last year and lost a lot of fish - went away for a week and the house got too hot. Lost my opals, panduro and rocket killies all at the same time.
Big mistake on my part.
