One of My Fish

Hello everyone,

What does everyone think about this fish? I have had this fish for about 9 months now and was bought as a baby.

This one used to be the dominant fish but since introducing my two Heckle x Checkerboards he is now 3rd in the pecking order. Is an amazing fish with so much personality, one of my favorites if not my favorite.

Any comments appreciated.......what strain is this one too!! :wink:

This fish and 3 others was my Valentines Day present from the missus. So I have had this one since Feb 07. I paid $20 for this fish as it was very small and was locally bread.

This fish is he from adelaide storeim sure we have his bro/sister ,did you get it from rodney at brighton .

Sure did get him from Rodney. An 3 others from the same batch which look completely differernt. The are typical red (1) and blue (2) turks. That is so cool that you have his brother or sister!!

What type would you classify this fish then? A Brown?

whatever it is, its a very decent fish. looks like a brown. male I think.

He has some nice fish there ,we are hoping ours stays with the brown colouring he caught our eye as soon as we walked in and saw him(?).

thats just like the browns i remember dad breeding when i was a kid, stunning!
