hi,i bought some fish from lfs called balloon rams is this the correct name thanks stan

It's correct - just a physically mutated form of ram that came from selective breeding. Similar to fancy goldfish.

Like it or not, it's a matter of opinion. Genetically they are still ram and if bred with normal ram shall expect a more normal body.

These fish have a similar genetic condition know in humans as

"Spina bifida"

Can't wait till the Asia suppliers continue the breeding so they lose the dorsal....their tail splits into 2 and they get a red growth on their head with eyes that pop and look upwards........................................... ......................... :evil:

oh....and yeh....Glow in the dark!
